Good purposes for the new year

After spending a wonderful holiday over the Christmas and New Year period,  some people feel blue and find that it’s difficult to function normally in their daily rhythm. The causes can be various, from the family celebration frenzy, with huge multitude of food and alcohol, to the simply desire to forget the daily working routine.

Here we want to give you some suggestions to start 2015 in the best way and live it with serenity and without worries. First of all we think it´s important to concentrate on yourselves and on the choices you will make for your soul and your body.

What is really important is to make healthy choices. After the many indulgences over the holiday period, it can leave you feeling a little out of shape and worse for wear in the nutrition department. Eating well and keeping up regular exercise will enhance your mood and help you return to good shape and fitness levels.Love pasta

Probably after all the holiday parties your body need to be purified: we suggest you not to alter completely your diet but just add more seasonal vegetables and keeping drink water during the whole day. Nevertheless eat a good pasta with tomato sauce and basil will not making you go to hell!

Another crucial point is keeping exercising no matter the weather, lethargy and weight excuses. Exercise will give you the mood-boost you need and get you moving again. If you’re living in a cold climate, there are plenty of winter exercising options such as walking, skiing, and gym workouts, and for those who live in a hot climate, swimming, hiking, and water sports are ideal mood lifters.

Be positive

Do you remember the jogging trail that starts from Parco San Marco Lifestyle Beach Resort and brings you until Lago del Piano? No? You should try it during your next stay by us! It takes about 6 km to go and 6 km to be back: it´s a flat itinerary, easy and in the middle of nature! We suggest you to jogging during the first hours of the day, between 7:00 until 9:00 AM, especially during the summer season!

What is absolutely important is trying to keep a positive frame of mind: planning for interesting and fulfilling events throughout the year is a good way to calm your current blues.
