“…vraiment l’aventure” – A real adventure

August 26th, 2012 | By Deborah Giorno in Parco San Marco | No Comments »

Looking from Lake Lugano towards the rocks above Parco San Marco you would never expect there would be a way to get up there. However, hidden in the mountain forest, you can find an impressing rock climbing area right above your head.

Approximately 3 times a week small groups of hotel guests join this guided climbing tour called “Adventure climbing”. The combination of adventure, unique view and a little bit of adrenaline is suitable  from children of 12 years of age to adults.

The climbing park is a combination of high-rope garden and via ferrata , that means that there are steps and rocks to climb as well as valleys being crossed by rope slides.

This adventure is definitely worth trying, especially on sunny days, because once you get to the top of the climbing track, you will be able to enjoy the impressing panorama of Lago di Lugano including the view of Osteno and Porlezza, as well as Lago di Piano.

However, whoever will take part in this new challenge, will agree with a young French climber that during the last climbing tour said: “C’est vraiment l’aventure!” – Indeed, a real adventure!
